The Acuitas team includes skilled professionals from a range of different sectors. Our focus on development and design can also be seen in the make-up of our team: around 40% work in R&D.
Our team is close-knit and can respond quickly to any situation, ensuring considerable flexibility and a high level of innovation. As a result, we can implement customisation and technical challenges swiftly and efficiently.

Since its foundation in 1999, Acuitas has become a world leader in its field
Our story – the beginnings
In 1999, Leo W. Marxer and Hans Feusi found Acuitas GmbH in Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland. A few years later, the young company grows to 5 employees and moves to larger offices. In 2008, the company grows once more and moves into a new building in Altendorf, where it remains to this day. One year later, Acuitas becomes a limited company. The number of employees rises once again to 12. The addition of a third floor in 2013 saw an increase in floorspace for the construction and administration departments.
Acuitas today…
Today, Acuitas employs over 20 professionals and exports more than 30 products globally each year. A well-developed network of partners and representatives provide local support for Acuitas customers across the whole world.
Acuitas remains a wholly family-owned company, making it 100% independent.
